Interview presented and produced by Phil Widdows

FolkCast Theme Music: Fisherman's Priest by Ken Nicol

Phil meets with The UFQ - Frank Moon, Joe Broughton, Paloma Trigas and Tom Chapman - ahead of their gig at the Rose Theatre, Edge Hill University, Lancashire to discuss their brand new album, Off Beaten Tracks, and look at some of the stories and experiences that have inspired the music. They chat about their remarkable international touring schedule, and the fabulous Spanish influences that Paloma has brought with her into an otherwise steadfastly English band. And they even get on to one or two of their other projects, including the 50-strong Conservatoire Folk Ensemble!
